Visit
Magnolia Market at the Silos sits in downtown Waco, a few blocks from the Brazos River and Interstate 35. If the Silos are the reason for your trip, where you stay mostly comes down to one choice: do you want to walk, or are you happy to drive a few minutes?
Downtown: walk to the Silos
Hotels in the downtown core put you within walking distance of the Silos, the Waco Suspension Bridge, the Dr Pepper Museum, and many of the city's newer restaurants. Expect higher rates on weekends and during big Baylor events, and check whether parking is included.
Near Baylor and the river
The area around Baylor University and University Parks Drive is a short drive or a long walk from the Silos, and puts you close to the riverwalk and McLane Stadium. It books up fast on football weekends.
Along I-35 and the outer corridors
Chain hotels along the interstate and in the Woodway and Hewitt direction tend to be the most affordable and have easy parking. Plan on a 5–15 minute drive to downtown depending on traffic.
How to choose
- Visiting on a Saturday? Book early — that is the busiest day at the Silos.
- Check Baylor's calendar first; home games and graduation fill every hotel in town.
- Compare the map distance from the hotel to 601 Webster Avenue before you book.
