Robinson is an incorporated city southeast of Waco in McLennan County, stretching along Highway 77 and Loop 340. Originally an agricultural community, it has grown into a primarily residential suburb with affordable single-family housing and a mix of established neighborhoods and newer builds.
Robinson's appeal is straightforward: housing costs run below the Waco-area median, lots are generally larger than in central Waco, and the commute to downtown Waco is about 10–15 minutes. The city is served by Robinson ISD, covering elementary through high school. Commercial development is concentrated along the main corridors, with grocery, dining, and services available locally.
Robinson sits south of Loop 340 and east of I-35, giving residents highway access for commuting to Waco, Temple, or points south. The city has a community center and several parks, and is within a short drive of Cameron Park and the Brazos River for outdoor recreation.
